My name is Elena and I’m Shidonni’s toy designer. From now on I’ll be updating you on our new and wonderful feature “Shidonni One-of-a-kind“.

As you all know,  Shidonni is creative game for kids aged 5-12, where they draw their own characters, and then play with them in the virtual world of fun, games and all sorts of activities.

But imagine, how great would it be, if your virtual friend could become a real one? Now it can!

With an amazing new feature you can turn your character into a big, lovely, cuddly, soft, real plush toy!

Now we can create for you a custom-made toy made from your drawing ! Place an order, and soon you will be playing with your one-of-a-kind cuddly toy.

Shidonni and the Internet Keep Safe Coalition partner to promote cyber safety for kids and offer lesson plans to teachers during cyber security awareness month

Shidonni, the award winning browser-based virtual world that provides a safe and creative Web environment for children, has partnered with the Internet Keep Safe Coalition to promote cyber safety for kids.

Thanks to this partnership an iKeepSafe custom version of Shidonni has been created at http://www2.shidonni.com/ikeepsafe/. It is supported with lesson plans and worksheets that are free for schools, and also provides class management tools and guidance for teachers.

“True to our values, we are delighted to extend support for safer online experiences for children around the world,” said Ido Mazursky, Shidonni’s CEO. “Next to our ongoing goals of providing creative fun to children everywhere, partnering with iKeepSafe and Faux Paw is a critical step in Shidonni’s commitment to the Internet safety of children.”

iKeepSafe President Marsali Hancock echoed those sentiments.

Shidonni extends its reach with new multi-lingual version to kids worldwide

Hi everyone,

We are excited to update that we were chosen as one of the top 10 Israeli internet startups in Israel at the TWS event. We were chosen out of 70 startups by an amazing set of judges who reviewed us. Techcrunch wrote about Shidonni, as well as Ezra from 1938Media (who is giving away 1 month Shidonni Pro subscriptions). Following the win , Virtual world news had a QA session with Guy.

At the event Nir was showing what we do to many visitors and even had a kid to show and play

Guy presented Shidonni to the panel and had to answer a lot of questions.
